Zipp ZR1SL Front Hub 24G Centerlock 100mm 12mm Boost

The ZR1 SL hub combines high performance with durability. The "Super Light" version is derived from the base model but features a lighter hub and bearing system. This front hub has been specially developed for our NSW top wheels and is now available separately. With a total weight reduction of 30 grams, the reliable aluminum hub is the perfect complement to ZIPP's performance-oriented NSW wheels. In addition to its low weight, the ceramic hybrid bearings offer noticeable advantages in rolling behavior. The ZR1 SL comes with steel bearings and an aftermarket option for ceramic bearings for even lower weight.

The SL version is also extremely low-maintenance. The design of the driver body keeps the pawls in place for easy disassembly, simplifying maintenance. This is not only due to the fact that it shares end caps, axles, and freehub bodies with the ZR1 standard hub, but also to the design for J-Bend spokes, which are widely used and easy to replace. The freehub of the rear hub is equipped with 6 pawls, which are compensated in 2 groups. This way, 3 pawls engage at any given moment, resulting in a total of 66 engagement points for quick responsiveness at all times.
