In the basement of his house at the Maastunnelplein in Rotterdam, Mr. Wisse had been manufacturing screwdrivers, chisels, saws and other tools.
He’d been solely responsible for the production and marketing of his products, until he met commercial talent Harry Vogelesang.

From that moment on, Wisse handled the manufacturing end while Vogelesang was in charge sales.
They made a great team.

On October 6th 1944, they set up the Industriële Handelsvennootschap Vogelesang & Co. CV, manufacturing various tools that were in high demand after the war.
All products were sold under the WISVO brand name, which is a contraction of both men’s names.
Over time the company limited production to screwdrivers and chisels.

Meanwhile the store brand WISVO has started playing an increasingly important role.
The company logo has changed and the company’s range has been expanded to include new lines of tools, marketed in modern packaging for a very attractive price.
In addition, products all come with all the necessary data for purchase and sales management.
