With the Cyclus Tools chain wear indicator, you can quickly and reliably determine the right moment to replace your chain. This keeps the shifting performance of your drivetrain at its best and prevents excessive wear on the chainrings and cassette.

To use it, the wear indicator is inserted at three points in the chain links, allowing you to accurately assess the wear. The third measuring finger tensions the chain using a spring, ensuring that the testing process is not influenced by the individual force of the user when inserting the measuring fingers. The degree of wear is then displayed on a line scale. The word 'Stop' indicates that the chain stretch is one percent.
