Vittoria's Ultra Light Speed ??inner tubes are made of thermoplastic polyurethane.
This material is not only fully recyclable, but also offers excellent technical properties; it is stable from -47°C to +100°C.
It can be consistently extruded in very thin thicknesses.
It has good elasticity and is completely airtight, which can keep a constant air pressure indoors for a long time.
It resists punctures and in the event of a puncture, the airflow is slower compared to butyl and latex, which translates into greater safety.
To achieve the incredible lightness of 30 grams and higher puncture resistance than butyl tubes, Ultra Light Speed ??are made with the multi-layer co-extrusion technology and are 0.35 mm thick.
They are extremely thin compared to butyl inner tubes, which are usually 1mm thick.
Welding is performed with high-frequency technology.
