The Signature tyre of the Australian downhill pro Troy Brosnan is called Maxxis Dissector!
Troy wanted to create a unicorn among tires.
A mountain bike tyre that rolls fast, offers cornering precision and, if needed, good braking traction.
As starting point, we have taken the profile of the Rekon, Minion DHF and HighRoller II and have further developed and refined it during the 2018 World Cup season.
The slightly lighter EXO TR version of the Maxxis Dissector is not a pure downhill tyre, but instead focusses on all-mountain, trail and enduro tours as well as freeride.

Which tire fits which rim?

The so-called ETRTO size (European Tire and Rim Technical Organisation) consists of two numbers: the first is the width of the tire in millimeters and the second is the diameter of the tire in millimeters.
City bikes usually have tire size 37-622: a 37 mm width and a 622 mm diameter.
The tire width must match the rim width.
The following chart shows possible combinations of tire widths and rim widths according to ETRTO.
