The original sealant formula, released 2.5 years ago, was primarily designed for effective puncture sealing by maximizing the surface area of the liquid latex for enhanced performance. Professional cyclists appreciated its convenience, as they frequently changed tires depending on race conditions and could easily add new sealant without having to inject it through the valve. However, we heard two major concerns from recreational cyclists: it dried out quickly when not in use, and the composition of the longer carbon fibers made injection difficult and problematic, leading to a potentially messy installation if not handled carefully.
