Continental introduces a new top model racing tire, the Grand Prix 5000.
This is the successor to the Grand Prix 4000 S II.
This is not an easy task, because this has been the best-selling racing tire for years and has also been the best in all tests for years.
The goal in developing the new tire was to improve rolling resistance, durability, speed and better puncture protection.

Which tire fits which rim?

The so-called ETRTO size (European Tire and Rim Technical Organisation) consists of two numbers:
the first is the width of the tire in millimeters and the second is the diameter of the tire in millimeters.
City bikes usually have tire size 37-622:
a 37 mm width and a 622 mm diameter.
The tire width must match the rim width.
The following chart shows possible combinations of tire widths and rim widths according to ETRTO.
