The next generation of aerodynamic racing bike tires, developed in close cooperation with the experts at DT Swiss and Swiss Side.
The AERO 111 is based on the race-proven technologies of the GP5000 TR series and sets new standards in aerodynamics.

The race-optimized black chili compound ensures excellent grip and lower rolling resistance, while the proven Vectran Breaker offers puncture protection.

The patented, aerodynamically optimized tread design is equipped with 48 precisely shaped air chambers.
These so-called "vortex generators" create controlled turbulence on the front wheel, which allows the airflow to stick to the rim for longer, reducing air resistance and optimizing handling in crosswinds.

The riding effect increases at all speeds.
Even with lower rim profiles, riders benefit from this effect because the laminar airflow stays on the rim for longer and the air resistance of the wheel-tyre system is reduced.

Which tire fits which rim?

The so-called ETRTO size (European Tire and Rim Technical Organisation) consists of two numbers:
the first is the width of the tire in millimeters and the second is the diameter of the tire in millimeters.
City bikes usually have tire size 37-622:
a 37 mm width and a 622 mm diameter.
The tire width must match the rim width.
The following chart shows possible combinations of tire widths and rim widths according to ETRTO.
