Continental has been quiet in the MTB cross-country segment for a long time. But now, the traditional brand is making a comeback with a bang. The three new tire models, Dubnital, Trinotal, and Magnotal, are designed to cover all conceivable terrains on modern cross-country and downcountry bikes, replacing the outdated models.

The Magnotal is the new all-round tire for aggressive downcountry, all-mountain, and trail rides. The redesigned tread, combined with the revised casing, fills the gap in the Continental Gravity tire line. The Magnotal feels particularly comfortable on loose and mixed surfaces. It also performs well in wet and muddy conditions.

Which tire fits which rim?

The so-called ETRTO size (European Tire and Rim Technical Organisation) consists of two numbers:
the first is the width of the tire in millimeters and the second is the diameter of the tire in millimeters.
City bikes usually have tire size 37-622:
a 37 mm width and a 622 mm diameter.
The tire width must match the rim width.
