Every detail has been worked out with the utmost care – both in the design phase and during the production process, entirely made in Italy according to the best traditions of Repente.
Design, comfort and functionality come together in the Quasar 2.0 to meet the needs of both competitive cyclists and recreational riders.
The shape of the saddle is characterized by a flat seating surface of 142 mm and a central opening, integrated into a wide recess that relieves perineal pressure.
The comfortably wide rear support surface is modeled according to anatomical and ergonomic principles – a characteristic of all Repente saddles.
The Close Fit effect, which results from this specific shape, ensures a comfortable seat without thick layers of padding and helps riders to immediately find their most efficient sitting position.
The shell is made of PA12, reinforced with long carbon fibers (LCF technology).
The padding is polyurethane, while the covering consists of water-based anti-slip polyurethane microfiber.
The rail is made of AISI stainless steel, a type of steel with advanced mechanical properties.
Repente has further reinforced it with a special process called Shot 304, which hardens the metal surface and makes it extra wear-resistant.
