Repente Quasar CR 2.0 Bicycle Saddle Carbon - Black

The Repente Quasar CR 2.0 is the ultra-light version of this popular saddle.
What sets it apart from the standard model is the new rail and padding: in the CR 2.0 version, the rail is made entirely of UD T700 carbon fibre.
Thanks to this major innovation and the EVA padding, the total weight has been reduced to just 129 grams.
The new Quasar CR is one of the lightest padded saddles in the world.
The shell also features carbon fibre in the form of long fibres (LCF technology), which further strengthens the PA12 structure.
The Quasar CR 2.0 is produced entirely in Italy and has a size of 260 mm x 142 mm.
The "smart length" of 260 mm offers the ideal balance between the required freedom of movement and highly effective support while pedalling.
In line with current industry standards, the Quasar CR 2.0 has a rail section of 7x9 mm. The saddle has a flat design and a central opening to relieve pressure in the perineal area.
The wide rear support surface is shaped according to the anatomical and ergonomic principles of Repente's signature Close Fit design: an iconic shape that provides comfort without thick layers of padding.
The padding is made of superlight EVA foam.
The water-based PU microfiber cover has an anti-slip function, making it easy to maintain the most efficient pedaling position without restricting freedom of movement on the saddle.
The front of the saddle is tapered, allowing for a smooth transition between the sitting position and the sprint position, and vice versa.
