The shape of the back of the saddle has been designed to provide an even contact surface.
Repente's R&D department has focused on keeping the hip joints free during the downward pedaling movement, giving the cyclist more comfort and more effective power transfer (ERGO SHAPE).
The central anatomical recess has been further widened for additional relief.
The thickness of the padding has been increased over the entire saddle surface.
To ensure a comfortable riding position, both on uneven terrain and during long rides, the padding is made of EVA material, which excels in lightness and shock absorption.
The tip of the Prime 3.0 has an extra thick padding with a square cross-section, which provides optimum support when sliding forward on the saddle.
The minimalist and stylish design of the saddle graphics combines functionality with aesthetics. The glossy lacquer finish on the sides of the middle and front sections reduces friction on the inner thighs.
The rail has a differential section and is made entirely of T700 unidirectional carbon fibre.
The saddle’s supporting structure is made of PA12 polyurethane, reinforced with LCF technology.
Instead of short carbon fibres, longer fibres are incorporated into the resin through an advanced injection process, creating a strong, woven structure that increases strength and minimises the risk of deformation.
The Repente saddle’s cover is made of water-based, non-slip PU.
