The ST-R8170 STI levers are not only characterised by their optimised ergonomics and even more precise metering of the hydraulic disc brakes, but also impress with lightning-fast shifting processes, which are achieved not least by the wireless function.

The wireless connection offers another advantage: without electrical cables, installation is easier and the cockpit looks tidier.
However, the shift/brake levers still offer a cable connection (EW-SD300) for using secondary switches on the upper or lower links.
Numerous adjustment and configuration options are offered by the compatibility with the improved E-Tube Project app, with which, as with the previous versions, the shift modes (Synchro-/Semi-Synchro-Shift, Multi-Shift), the shift speed and the button assignment can be adjusted while riding.

To ensure that the braking performance is not inferior to the shifting functionality, the Ultegra Dual Control levers are equipped with Servowave technology.
With the help of an extensive brake control range, this ensures excellent dosage that offers optimum comfort and control even under difficult conditions.
For individual adjustment, the brake levers naturally also have the option of adjusting the grip width and the free stroke.
