Gravel is the great equalizer.
It doesn't matter who you are, where you come from or where you want to go.
Gravel celebrates individuality.
It brings people together in a shared passion.
It lays the foundation for friendships and creates memories that will last forever.
Whether you ride one kilometer or a hundred.
With professional equipment or without.
With 10, 11 or 12 gears.
On asphalt roads, forest roads, side roads - or no roads at all.
It doesn't matter why you're on the road, it only matters that you're there.
Shimano GRX Di2 shift/brake set consisting of the ST-RX825 Dual Control lever for safe operation and the BR-RX820 hydraulic disc brake caliper for consistent braking performance.
Smooth and easy maintenance is guaranteed by the proven one-way bleeding system and the easy hose joint system, which makes replacing brake lines much easier.
More control and integration on your next Gravel adventure – that’s the promise of the electronic components of the RX825 series, which extend Shimano’s GRX family with the proven and at the same time improved Di2 functionality.
The Wireless cockpit is defined by the STI levers, which are designed for use on mixed terrain and combine sophisticated ergonomics with fast, wireless shifting performance.
A special feature is the third button on the inside of the hoods, which can be used to activate the front derailleur via the Front shift next function to easily shift the chain to the chainring that is not in use.
Since all the function buttons on the ST-RX825 shift/brake levers can be freely configured with the e-tube project cyclist app, the switch can also be used in other ways, for example to switch between the separate screens of a compatible bike computer.
If that’s not enough customization for you, you can combine your Dual Control lever with one of the three options of the SW-RS801 satellite switch.
The design of the GRX Di2 brake/shift levers is based on their mechanical counterpart, which adapts to modern Gravel handlebars with a lot of flare.
The slightly rounded shape not only ensures a seamless transition to the flared handlebars, but also increases the grip surface in combination with the raised horns, which reduces the risk of bruising points.
In addition to the ribbed surface of the rubber grips, the anti-slip coating on the brake lever blade provides the necessary grip.
Speaking of brakes: the proven servo wave technology ensures particularly good modulation when decelerating.
In addition, the brake lever is adjustable in grip range and pressure point.

The first Shimano product was the bicycle freewheel, which also became the first product by Shimano to be exported in 1931.
Halfway through the 1950s Shimano expanded its range with a derailleur and a 3 speed hub.
In 1960 cold forging technology was introduced, quickly becoming a vital part of the production process and the main reason behind the premium quality of Shimano's bicycle parts.
Export figures grew exponentially. In 1965 and 1972 Shimano America and Shimano Europe were founded, and the first factories were opened in Singapore.
In 1973 the first complete Dura-Ace group came into being and Shimano Inc. became a publicly listed company.
Starting in the early 80s, the introduction of the mountain bike and the company’s leading role in its evolution led to rapid growth for Shimano Inc.
Then Shimano turned the road bike market upside down in 1984 with the introduction of indexed shifting (SIS), and again in 1990 with integrated braking and shifting (STI).
