Technologies of Shimano Deore XT Trekking SL-T8000

With 2-Way-Release, you can release the cable by pressing it with your thumb or pulling it with your index finger. This means you don’t have to adjust your riding style to the shifter; instead, the shifter adapts to your riding style.

Multi-Release allows for two gear shifts at once. You can shift through multiple gears in both directions using either the main lever or the secondary lever (only with the 10-speed lever).

Instant Release enables faster shifting. The cable is released immediately when the lever is operated, allowing you to shift quicker than ever before.
