The SW-EN600 control unit from the Shimano steps series is designed for left-handed mounting and functions as an easy and intuitive support switch for use with all types of E-Bike.
Equipped with 2 LED indicators, the rider is always informed about the battery level and the selected Assist Mode.

The switch unit for steps battery management systems of the 2nd generation has 5 buttons, 2 of which allow switching between the assistance modes.
While another button is responsible for starting the E-Bike system, the 2 remaining buttons are programmable, but in the basic configuration they are used to switch the lighting on and off and to operate a connected display.
In addition, the wireless connection allows communication with the e-tube project cyclist app, which can be used for firmware updates, among other things.
