The Hiline 8 from Deuter, the ultimate companion for challenging descents, combines advanced 3D-printed Airstripes back system technology with a compact fit and optimal protection. The EPU material of the back system perfectly molds to your body and, together with the flexible, vest-like shoulder straps and the elastic, adjustable chest and hip belts, ensures a stable and comfortable fit, even on technical trails. Additionally, the integrated protector made of visco-elastic foam provides maximum and reliable protection for the spine.

Made without PFAS.
This Deuter product is manufactured without the use of per- and polyfluorinated chemicals. This reduces the use of substances harmful to the environment and health. PFAS is typically used as a coating for rain protection because of its water, dirt, and grease-repellent properties. Instead, Deuter now uses a DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation, which is harmless to health and the environment.

Anyone looking to purchase socially and ecologically responsible clothing can apply for the Grüner Knopf certification. Currently, there is no other label like Grüner Knopf. It mandates compliance with strict standards to protect people and the environment. In total, 46 stringent social and environmental criteria must be met, covering a wide range from wastewater to forced labor.
