Made without PFAS
This Deuter product is manufactured without the use of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances. This reduces the use of substances that are harmful to the environment and health.

PFAS is typically used as a coating for rain protection due to its water, dirt, and grease-repellent properties. Instead, Deuter now uses a DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation that is harmless to health and the environment.

It mandates compliance with stringent standards to protect people and the environment. In total, 46 strict social and environmental criteria must be met, covering a wide range from wastewater to forced labor.

Main material made from 100% recycled material
Thanks to resource-saving production, the manufacturing of recycled synthetic fibers reduces CO2 emissions and the consumption of energy and crude oil compared to newly produced fibers. The material is also bluesign® certified and produced according to the strictest standards for environmental protection, labor safety, and consumer protection.
