In 1996 AGU became the official clothing supplier for professional cycling teams.
One of the reasons for sponsoring professionals was to get in with the most demanding group of cyclists around, who could test and use cycling clothes at the highest level and giving suggestions for improvement.
Professional cyclists are not only vital in the development process, they’re also a crucial reference point and a source of information.
