ROCK SHOX Fork 27,5 "| 650B BOXXER Ultimate RC2 DebonAir SA 200 mm | 20 x 110 mm black 46 mm Offset
The Boxxer Ultimate is designed "Out of the Box" for one purpose only: Win a race!
The specially tuned to DH DebonAir air spring has been revised and speaks thanks to once again reduced friction inside better than ever before. The new Maxima Plush Fluid in the Charger 2 RC2 Damping Cartridge takes performance levels to the next level and lets you glide over any bumps.
The BOXXER was developed by Rock Shox for the next generation of DH Superstars. Developed from the ground up for big wheels only, it features a stiff casting, 35mm thick stanchions and a MX Sport inspired crown for optimal handlebar height. A redesigned DebonAir air spring with low breakout force, perfect mid stroke support, a very linear suspension feel, and bottomless tokens that allow you to set your own progression at the end of the stroke, making the BOXXER your new favorite fork ,
To top it off, Colorado-based suspension specialists built the Charger 2 RC2 cartridge with adjustable high and low speed compression and customizable rebound for a perfect setup.
Or to put it simply, Rockox's BOXXER Ultimate is an absolute weapon for DH riders around the world.
Rapid Recovery
A special shimstack inside the fork optimizes the function for many, fast successive strokes. It returns faster to the starting position - the contact with the ground is increased and the notorious wayback is prevented.
Maxle Stealth
Very light thru axle which can be mounted and removed with a 6 mm Allen. In addition to a clean look, it also saves some weight on the unsprung mass.
Debonair
It's ok to be soft. The DebonAir technology has an extremely low breakaway torque to work as sensitively as possible from the beginning. The first third of the spring travel is designed to be particularly soft to be able to use the rest, then as linear as possible and to swallow small beats perfectly even in the middle travel range. Late onset progression reliably prevents punches. All this together creates more traction and perfect control
Solo Air
The negative and positive air chambers are filled at the same time only by means of a valve, which considerably simplifies the setting of your personal set-up .
Charger 2.1 RC2
The advancement of the acclaimed Charger damper - the most advanced RockShox technology yet - raises its performance and sophistication to a whole new level of performance.
The new damping design allows adjustment of high and low speed compression and rebound. The new Maxima Plush damping fluid reduces friction within the cushioning and allows you to glide smoothly over all bumps.
Bottomless tokens
Here you can easily vary the air volume of your fork with optionally available tokens (volume spacers) and thereby adapt the spring characteristic to your driving style.

RockShox was founded by Paul Turner and Steve Simons in North Carolina (USA) in 1989.
It moved to California a few years later. Turner, who rode motorcycles in his teens, founded a company that sold motorcycle parts at the age of 18.
He would go on to work for the Honda Motor Company as the factory motocross team's mechanic, which put him in touch with suspension designers and other motocross industry leaders.
Former professional motocross rider and entrepreneur Simons designed a shock absorber for Fox Racing Shox and then went on to found his own company Simons Inc. to develop suspension forks.
He obtained two patents on suspension forks, one of which he licensed to the major motorcycle and suspension companies.
In 1989 Turner approached Simons to develop a suspension fork for mountain bikes.
In 1987, Turner had presented a full bike with front and rear suspension at the bicycle industry trade show in Long Beach, with the help of Keith Bontrager.
The industry was not impressed.
Two years later Turner and his wife Christi were producing suspension forks in their garage using parts they bought from Simons.
Turner soon became partner in Simons Inc.
Simons became CEO at RockShox. Turner brought in Greg Herbold as a test rider and company spokesman.
Herbold became the first world champion in downhill mountain biking on one of the first suspension forks made for mountain bikes.
In August 1990 the company produced its first 100 suspension forks, the RS-1.
The start-up was financed by the East Asian bicycle parts manufacturer Dia Compe, the founders, and other investors.
Dia Compe manufactured the next series of forks but later withdrew from manufacturing and disposed of its shares.
From then on, forks were primarily manufactured at RockShox.
