With the Shamal Carbon Disc Race wheelset, the Italian company's iconic wheelset has been given a brand new carbon look.
As early as 1992, Campagnolo introduced the first wheelset with a high rim profile to be named Shamal.
Meanwhile, Shamal has stood for innovation and advanced research for years.
The new Shamal Carbon Disc has an internal rim width of 21 mm and is therefore suitable for tires from 23 to 65 mm.
This makes the wheelset suitable for both road and gravel bikes.

The rear rim height is 40mm, for maximum reactivity and power transfer.
The height of the front rim is 35mm which ensures the best handling characteristics of the wheel.
The 2-Way Fit technology makes it possible to mount both clincher and tubeless tires.
Because of Campagnolo's patented MoMag technology (no spoke holes on the inside of the rim), no rim tape is needed with a tubeless mounting.

Reliability is guaranteed by the special G3 spoke pattern.
The G3 spoke pattern patented by Campagnolo ensures a stiff wheel that absorbs shocks better.
The weight of the wheelset is 1585 grams, making it lighter than its aluminum disc predecessor.
The rims are not painted, which emphasizes the top quality of the materials and the craftsmanship.

The wheelset is equipped with new aluminum hubs with cup-cone bearings.
This ensures that the wheels run smoothly and that the bearings are easy to adjust.
It is also possible to replace the bearings for the top-end USB and CULT ceramic bearings.
The Shamal Carbon Disc wheelset is fully assembled by hand by a specialized Campagnolo technician, and is then 100% checked using electronic equipment.
