The DT Swiss ARC 1400 Dicut® DB 80 carbon front wheel for racing bikes with disc brake convinces with a perfect mix of acceleration, aerodynamics and handling characteristics.
The ARC 1400 system wheel with AERO+ rim profile impresses with the modified Dicut® Aero hub. Together with the aero experts from SWISS SIDE, DT Swiss achieved lower wind sensitivity in crosswinds and an improvement in the overall aerodynamics of the wheel. In moderate crosswinds you benefit from propulsion through the sail effect and a stable aerodynamic position with full control over the bike.

The 80 mm rim with high profile is predestined for flat and fast time trials and triathlon tours. High stiffness values ??and the low weight of the wheel impress both pros and ambitious amateurs - i.e. anyone who loves speed.
High-quality DT Swiss Aero spokes and the light 240 Dicut® aero hub complete the construction of the carbon wheel. The excellent tubeless compatibility allows you to build the wheels without an inner tube for lower weight, great comfort, low rolling resistance and excellent puncture protection.

The symbiosis of air resistance, driving behavior and efficiency. - Optimization of the wheel's aerodynamics by DT Swiss in collaboration with SWISS SIDE reduces rotational and air resistance for low-friction drive and controlled steering behavior in crosswinds. In combination with a larger inner dimension of the rim for wider tires, rolling resistance also decreases. Traction and comfort are improved by the wide contact patch.

- TUBELESS:
All DT Swiss wheels are tubeless ready. The profiles of the DT Swiss rims are specially designed for tubeless use. The rim profile makes it easier to fit the right tire and guarantees a perfect fit. The tubeless system of the rim consists of DT Swiss Tubeless Ready Tape rim tape for sealing and a DT Swiss Tubeless valve in the appropriate length. When using Tubeless Ready tires, the use of a compatible sealant is necessary. However, it is also possible to use the classic combination of tire and inner tube.

- BEARINGS:
Based on years of experience, DT Swiss only uses robust industrial bearings without adjusting the play on the bearings. DT Swiss hubs are constructed in such a way that, when mounted correctly, the axial and radial bearing play is optimal without adjustment options. The correct preload of the bearings to compensate for the clamping force of the wheel mounting system is the basis for a play-free hub with minimal friction.
