The Airliner Road from Vittoria is an insert made of a special foam-like material that you mount, just like a regular inner tube, between the rim and the tire when making your wheels tubeless.
Vittoria supplies a special Tubeless Tool kit for this with a number of extra tire levers and a tire pliers so that you can get the tight outer tire on your rim more easily.
The moment you have a puncture and the hole is too big for the liquid latex to completely seal, the Airliner Road expands and offers enough impact resistance to come home, even when there is no more air in the tires.
