HURRICANE
Intermediate tire for light off-road terrain.
The new Hurricane has a modern, fast profile design.
It rolls quickly through the smooth central groove and is almost whisper quiet on asphalt.
Stable shoulder studs for a good grip on forest paths and gravel offer excellent off-road qualities.
Thanks to optimum micro-toothing in the shoulder area, every turn remains safe.
Hurricane is an excellent all-terrain tire for cyclists who want to be on the road quickly and also expect their tire to function without problems in light off-road terrain.
Schwalbe has been using levels for many years to indicate puncture protection of her tires.
Two examples:
only Schwalbe has the tires that can be called "anti-puncture" (protection 7).
For mountain bikes, Tubeless became the standard for performance-oriented use with the
Schwalbe dust inserts from Tubeless Easy technology
together with sealing milk for optimum puncture protection (protection 6).
The DualGuard has been developed for fast, light bicycles that are used daily.
The combination of rubber insert and fabric insert is the perfect compromise
between daily and speed-oriented use.
RACE GUARD (4)
Double-laid fabric under the tread. Ideal puncture protection,
when a tire needs to be fast and light. 2 layers of crossed nylon fabric, 67 EPI carcasses.

Hollandbikeshop.com Tire Chart
Which tire fits which rim?
The so-called ETRTO size (European Tire and Rim Technical Organisation) consists of two numbers:
the first is the width of the tire in millimeters and the second is the diameter of the tire in millimeters.
City bikes usually have tire size 37-622: a 37 mm width and a 622 mm diameter.
The tire width must match the rim width.
The following chart shows possible combinations of tire widths and rim widths according to ETRTO.

Schwalbe bicycle tires are sold all over the world, from America to South Africa, from Japan to Australia.
Schwalbe is the leading bicycle tire company in Europe, for two reasons:
First of all, Schwalbe employees are real tire fanatics!
They’re experts in bicycle tires, although in recent years they’ve expanded their range to include wheelchair tires.
Secondly, Schwalbe tires are only sold by specialized bicycle shops, as specialist advice and excellent customer service are essential to Schwalbe.
The Schwalbe brand is owned by the Bohle enterprise, a company that has been run by the Bohle family since it was founded in 1922.
It is currently run by the third Bohle generation.
Its main office is located in Germany, with subsidiaries in the Netherlands, England, France and Italy.
It also has affiliates in 28 other countries and is in a joint venture with the Korean tire manufacturer Hung-A.
Production takes place in Indonesia.
There’s no needs to re-invent the wheel, as there’s no more room for improvement in this phenomenon, but tires are a different story.
And that’s what Schwalbe is all about: producing the best tires in the world.
For every cyclist, on every continent.
Our team of enthusiastic colleagues is ready to help you.
