Originally developed for permanent use on cargo bikes, the focus of development clearly was on durable materials, safety aspects and the support of the natural foot position.

The slightly curved platform adapts to your foot shape and allows for efficient power transfer over a large contact surface. Higher, inner guide rails keep your feet in correct position and reduce the risk of your ankles hitting the crank.

To allow for safe pedalling in rainy weather and under high loads, ergotec has equipped the EP-Cargo with a diamond profile and additional safety pins to prevent slipping.
