In the 90s of the 19th century, J.B. Brooks & Co. introduced saddles with a cutout for the first time, which prevented pressure around the seating area.
This innovative cutout in the middle of the saddle can currently be found in many different of models and bicycle saddle brands.
The Brooks Imperial saddle was unfortunately taken out of production in the 1950s, but is now making its comeback!
The solid bike saddle is now renewed and improved with a special design for both the female and male anatomy, which decreases numbness on sensitive body parts.

The Brooks B17 bicycle saddle is a comfortable and beautiful touring/trekking saddle, which is extremely suitable for long tours, trekking and ATB!
The convenient cutout this saddle prevents any perineal pressure.
This saddle has already been developed 100 years ago, since it was featured in the 1898 Brooks catalogue.
