Der neue unplattbar-Reifen.

Nach 10 Jahren haben wir den Marathon Plus gründlich überholt. Der einzig wahre Unplattbar-Reifen bekommt ein neues, dynamisches Profil und überzeugt mit vielen inneren Werten:

Rollwiderstand. Die patentierte, 5 mm starke SmartGuard Einlage hat gegenüber allen Nachahmer-Produkten einen deutlichen Vorteil im Rollwiderstand. In der neuesten Version bauen wir diesen Vorsprung noch weiter aus.

Recycling. Auch im SmartGuard verwenden wir jetzt einen Anteil an recyceltem Gummi.

„Anti-Aging“ Seitenwand. Erträgt die typischen Überlastungen durch zu geringen Luftdruck deutlich länger, bevor sie hässliche Risse bekommt.

E-Bike Ready. Die wichtigsten Größen sind für E-Bikes bis 50 km/h getestet und zugelassen. Folgende Größen tragen das ECE-R75 Prüfzeichen: 47-406, 47-559, 37-622, 40-622, 47-622

Der NEUE Marathon plus ist lieferbar ab Frühjahr 2014. Bis dahin ist der bewährte Marathon plus weiter erhältlich.

Welche Reifengröße passt auf welche Velge?

Die sogenannte ETRTO-Größen. Diese Größen bestehen aus zwei Zahlen.
Die erste Zahl gibt die Breite des Reifens an in Millimeter.
Die zweite Zahl gibt den Durchmesser des Reifens an in Millimeter.
City-Räder haben zum Beispiel häufig die Reifengröße 37-622.
Das bedeutet, er Reifen ist 37mm breit und hat einen Durchmesser von 622mm.
Die Größe 622mm ist bindend für die Größe, die auf Ihr Fahrrad passt.
Die Breite (37mm) ist frei. Sie können auch einen schmaleren Reifen (zB 32-622) oder einen breiteren Reifen (zB 40-622) aufziehen.
