Deze Schwalbe No. 17 binnenband is een vervangband voor de werkplaats, geschikt voor compatibele 28 inch fietsbanden en geselecteerde 27 inch bandenmaten. Hij past op een breed scala aan bandbreedtes van 28 tot 47 mm, waardoor hij nuttig is voor stadsfietsen, trekkingfietsen, toerfietsen en dagelijks onderhoud. Met een 40 mm Sclaverandventiel en een gewicht van 150 g is deze losse werkplaatsverpakking van 50 stuks praktisch voor fietsenwinkels, serviceafdelingen en reguliere onderhoudsvoorraden.

Welke fietsband past op welke velg?

De zogenaamde ETRTO-maat bestaat uit 2 getallen.
Het eerste getal geeft de breedte van de band in millimeters aan.
Het tweede getal geeft de diameter van de buitenband aan.
Stadsfietsen hebben bijvoorbeeld vaak de bandmaat 37-622.
De band is dan 37 mm breed en de fietsband heeft een diameter van 622mm.
De maat 622mm is dus bindend voor de maat band die op uw fiets past.
De breedte maat (37mm) is niet bindend.
Er kan ook een smallere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 32-622) of bredere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 40-622) op uw fiets.
