Deze Extralight binnenband van Schwalbe is een lichtgewicht vervangende band voor compatibele smalle 28 inch race-, fitness- en toerbanden. Met een gewicht van slechts 65 g is het ideaal voor rijders die het rotatiewicht willen verminderen terwijl ze toch gebruikmaken van een standaard binnenbandopstelling. Het 50 mm Sclaverandventiel is geschikt voor diepere velgen dan kortere ventielversies, en de band past op geselecteerde 622 en 630 bandmaten.

Welke fietsband past op welke velg?

De zogenaamde ETRTO-maat bestaat uit 2 getallen.
Het eerste getal geeft de breedte van de band in millimeters aan.
Het tweede getal geeft de diameter van de buitenband aan.
Stadsfietsen hebben bijvoorbeeld vaak de bandmaat 37-622.
De band is dan 37 mm breed en de fietsband heeft een diameter van 622mm.
De maat 622mm is dus bindend voor de maat band die op uw fiets past.
De breedte maat (37mm) is niet bindend.
Er kan ook een smallere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 32-622) of bredere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 40-622) op uw fiets.
