Deze Schwalbe No. 12XS binnenband is een vervangende band voor smalle compatibele 26 inch banden en geselecteerde 27,5 inch bandmaten. Het is geschikt voor slanke bandconfiguraties waarbij de juiste ETRTO-overeenkomst en ventieltype belangrijk zijn voor een betrouwbare pasvorm. Met een 40 mm Sclaverandventiel en een opgegeven gewicht van 120 g is het een praktische reserve- of serviceband voor reparaties, onderhoud en voorraad in de werkplaats.

Welke fietsband past op welke velg?

De zogenaamde ETRTO-maat bestaat uit 2 getallen.
Het eerste getal geeft de breedte van de band in millimeters aan.
Het tweede getal geeft de diameter van de buitenband aan.
Stadsfietsen hebben bijvoorbeeld vaak de bandmaat 37-622.
De band is dan 37 mm breed en de fietsband heeft een diameter van 622mm.
De maat 622mm is dus bindend voor de maat band die op uw fiets past.
De breedte maat (37mm) is niet bindend.
Er kan ook een smallere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 32-622) of bredere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 40-622) op uw fiets.
