Hiermee is de tubeless conversie niet mogelijk. Je bespaart echter wel aan gewicht van de band.

Schwalbe maakt al jaren gebruik van levels waarmee zij lekbescherimng van haar banden aangeeft.
Twee voorbeelden:
alleen Schwalbe heeft de banden die "anti-lek" (bescherming 7) kunnen worden genoemd.
Voor mountainbikes werd Tubeless de standaard voor prestatiegericht gebruik met de
Schwalbe-stofinzetstukken van de Tubeless Easy-technologie - en
samen met afdichtingsmelk voor optimale lekbescherming (bescherming 6).
Voor snelle, lichte fietsen die dagelijks worden gebruikt, is de DualGuard ontwikkeld.
De combinatie van rubberen inzetstuk en stoffen inzetstuk is het perfecte compromis
tussen dagelijks en snelheidsgericht gebruik.

Welke fietsband past op welke velg?

De zogenaamde ETRTO-maat bestaat uit 2 getallen.
Het eerste getal geeft de breedte van de band in millimeters aan.
Het tweede getal geeft de diameter van de buitenband aan.
Stadsfietsen hebben bijvoorbeeld vaak de bandmaat 37-622.
De band is dan 37 mm breed en de fietsband heeft een diameter van 622mm.
De maat 622mm is dus bindend voor de maat band die op uw fiets past.
De breedte maat (37mm) is niet bindend.
Er kan ook een smallere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 32-622) of bredere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 40-622) op uw fiets.
