Deze buitenband van Schwalbe is ontworpen voor compacte stadsfietsen en biedt betrouwbare grip, efficiënt rollen en extra veiligheid dankzij de reflecterende zijwanden. Met een maat van 20 x 1,50 inch en een ETRTO van 40-406 is de Marathon Racer geschikt voor dagelijks stadsgebruik en voor e-bikes tot 25 km/u. De ADDIX RaceGuard constructie zorgt voor extra lekbescherming, zodat de kans op lekrijden minimaal is.

Welke fietsband past op welke velg?

De zogenaamde ETRTO-maat bestaat uit 2 getallen.
Het eerste getal geeft de breedte van de band in millimeters aan.
Het tweede getal geeft de diameter van de buitenband aan.
Stadsfietsen hebben bijvoorbeeld vaak de bandmaat 37-622.
De band is dan 37 mm breed en de fietsband heeft een diameter van 622mm.
De maat 622mm is dus bindend voor de maat band die op uw fiets past.
De breedte maat (37mm) is niet bindend.
Er kan ook een smallere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 32-622) of bredere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 40-622) op uw fiets.
