De Schwalbe marathon plus buitenband 26x1.00" .
De 5mm dikke smartguard laag maakt de marathon plus de meest lekbestendige luchtband die er is, en biedt een significant voordeel in rolweerstand ten opzichte van imitatieproducten.
Dankzij de gepatenteerde technologie beschermt de band effectief tegen scherpe objecten zoals scherven en steentjes, zelfs tegen punaises.

Daarnaast is de marathon plus ontworpen met duurzaamheid in gedachten.
De “Anti-Aging” zijwand verdraagt langere tijd de typische overbelasting door te lage bandenspanning, waardoor de band langer meegaat zonder scheurtjes te vertonen.
De recycling van rubber uit oude latexproducten voor de smartguard laag draagt bij aan de duurzaamheid van de band en maakt het een milieuvriendelijke keuze.

De band is E-Bike ready en geschikt voor e-bikes tot 25 km/h, en getest voor de snelste e-bikes tot 50 km/u.
De Etrto van 50-559 en het 67 EPI karkas zorgen voor een betrouwbare en stevige rit.
Met een maximale belasting van 118 kg en een luchtdruk tussen 2 bar en 5 bar biedt deze band zowel comfort als veiligheid.

Welke fietsband past op welke velg?

De zogenaamde ETRTO-maat bestaat uit 2 getallen.
Het eerste getal geeft de breedte van de band in millimeters aan.
Het tweede getal geeft de diameter van de buitenband aan.
Stadsfietsen hebben bijvoorbeeld vaak de bandmaat 37-622.
De band is dan 37 mm breed en de fietsband heeft een diameter van 622mm.
De maat 622mm is dus bindend voor de maat band die op uw fiets past.
De breedte maat (37mm) is niet bindend.
Er kan ook een smallere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 32-622) of bredere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 40-622) op uw fiets.
