Deze Schwalbe binnenband is ontworpen voor brede banden en is een betrouwbare keuze wanneer je moderne MTB-breedtes op 28 inch en 29 inch wielen gebruikt. De maat 54/75-584/622 dekt een breed scala aan breedtes van 54 mm tot 75 mm, inclusief populaire 29er maten van 54-622 (29 x 2.10 inch) tot 75-622 (29 x 3.00 inch), en hij past ook op brede 27.5 banden tot 75-584 (27.5 x 3.00 inch). Hij is voorzien van een SV (Sclaverand / Presta) ventiel met een lengte van 40 millimeter voor eenvoudige inflatie met gangbare fietspompen en een veilige pasvorm in standaard ventielgaten.

Welke fietsband past op welke velg?

De zogenaamde ETRTO-maat bestaat uit 2 getallen.
Het eerste getal geeft de breedte van de band in millimeters aan.
Het tweede getal geeft de diameter van de buitenband aan.
Stadsfietsen hebben bijvoorbeeld vaak de bandmaat 37-622.
De band is dan 37 mm breed en de fietsband heeft een diameter van 622mm.
De maat 622mm is dus bindend voor de maat band die op uw fiets past.
De breedte maat (37mm) is niet bindend.
Er kan ook een smallere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 32-622) of bredere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 40-622) op uw fiets.
