Deze Schwalbe binnenband is een betrouwbare optie voor 26 inch wielen, ontworpen om te passen bij smalere bandbreedtes van 25 millimeter tot 40 millimeter voor stads-, trekking- en lichte MTB-opstellingen. De 25/40-559 maatvoering dekt gangbare 26-inch banden van 25-559 (26 x 1.00 inch) tot 40-559 (26 x 1.50 inch), inclusief klassieke maten zoals 32-559 (26 x 1 1/4 inch), waardoor het een praktische keuze is voor slanker 26 inch banden waar een goede pasvorm belangrijk is. Het beschikt over een AV (Auto) ventiel met een lengte van 40 millimeter, zodat het gemakkelijk op te pompen is bij pompstations en veel vloerpompen.

Welke fietsband past op welke velg?

De zogenaamde ETRTO-maat bestaat uit 2 getallen.
Het eerste getal geeft de breedte van de band in millimeters aan.
Het tweede getal geeft de diameter van de buitenband aan.
Stadsfietsen hebben bijvoorbeeld vaak de bandmaat 37-622.
De band is dan 37 mm breed en de fietsband heeft een diameter van 622mm.
De maat 622mm is dus bindend voor de maat band die op uw fiets past.
De breedte maat (37mm) is niet bindend.
Er kan ook een smallere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 32-622) of bredere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 40-622) op uw fiets.
