Deze buitenband van Schwalbe is ontwikkeld voor de speciale eisen die aan een E-bike band worden gesteld en biedt daarom maximale zekerheid bij hoge snelheden en lange afstanden.
De band heeft Schwalbe lekbescherming en de rubbersamenstelling geeft uitstekende grip bij hoge snelheden en heeft een lange levensduur.
De Marathon E-Plus is ook geschikt voor Pedelecs met trapondersteuning tot 25 km/h en S-Pedelecs.

Welke fietsband past op welke velg?

De zogenaamde ETRTO-maat bestaat uit 2 getallen.
Het eerste getal geeft de breedte van de band in millimeters aan.
Het tweede getal geeft de diameter van de buitenband aan.
Stadsfietsen hebben bijvoorbeeld vaak de bandmaat 37-622.
De band is dan 37 mm breed en de fietsband heeft een diameter van 622mm.
De maat 622mm is dus bindend voor de maat band die op uw fiets past.
De breedte maat (37mm) is niet bindend.
Er kan ook een smallere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 32-622) of bredere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 40-622) op uw fiets.
