In de modderige MTB cross-country wedstrijden heeft de Mountain King al een naam en nu is de modderspecialist ook in te zetten in het cyclocross segment.
Dankzij het diepe profiel graaft hij diep in de stevige grond onder de zachte Modder.
Het profiel rolt ook vrij goed op hardere grond.
De schoudernoppen zijn met opzet gescheiden van de middennoppen, zodat ze diep in de grond grip kunnen krijgen.

Welke fietsband past op welke velg?

De zogenaamde ETRTO-maat bestaat uit 2 getallen.
Het eerste getal geeft de breedte van de band in millimeters aan.
Het tweede getal geeft de diameter van de buitenband aan.
Stadsfietsen hebben bijvoorbeeld vaak de bandmaat 37-622.
De band is dan 37 mm breed en de fietsband heeft een diameter van 622mm.
De maat 622mm is dus bindend voor de maat band die op uw fiets past.
De breedte maat (37mm) is niet bindend.
Er kan ook een smallere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 32-622) of bredere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 40-622) op uw fiets.
