Alleen al door het nieuwe profiel en de ADDIX-rubbersamenstelling is de Schwalbe X-One een van de snelste crossbanden ooit.
Het wordt een absolute hoogvlieger als je hem op een tubeless-compatibel wiel zonder binnenband monteert.
Snel en grip tegelijk op verharde en losse grond, in droge of natte omstandigheden.
Met het juiste wiel kun je in het veldrijden tubeless banden rijden met een extreem lage luchtdruk zonder dat je je zorgen hoeft te maken over oprispingen (het ongewenste luchtverlies).

Welke fietsband past op welke velg?

De zogenaamde ETRTO-maat bestaat uit 2 getallen.
Het eerste getal geeft de breedte van de band in millimeters aan.
Het tweede getal geeft de diameter van de buitenband aan.
Stadsfietsen hebben bijvoorbeeld vaak de bandmaat 37-622.
De band is dan 37 mm breed en de fietsband heeft een diameter van 622mm.
De maat 622mm is dus bindend voor de maat band die op uw fiets past.
De breedte maat (37mm) is niet bindend.
Er kan ook een smallere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 32-622) of bredere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 40-622) op uw fiets.
