De Schwalbe binnenband is gemaakt voor smalle 24 inch banden en geselecteerde 600A bandenmaten waar de juiste ETRTO-overeenstemming essentieel is. Hij past op 20-540, 25-540 en 28-540 banden, evenals op 25-541 en 28-541 banden die zijn gemarkeerd als 600 x 25A of 600 x 28A. De 40 mm Sclaverandventiel, ook wel bekend als een Presta-ventiel, is geschikt voor velgen met een smalle ventielopening, waardoor deze band een specifieke vervangingskeuze is voor slanke 24 inch race-, jeugd-, klassieke of lichte fietsbandopstellingen.

Welke fietsband past op welke velg?

De zogenaamde ETRTO-maat bestaat uit 2 getallen.
Het eerste getal geeft de breedte van de band in millimeters aan.
Het tweede getal geeft de diameter van de buitenband aan.
Stadsfietsen hebben bijvoorbeeld vaak de bandmaat 37-622.
De band is dan 37 mm breed en de fietsband heeft een diameter van 622mm.
De maat 622mm is dus bindend voor de maat band die op uw fiets past.
De breedte maat (37mm) is niet bindend.
Er kan ook een smallere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 32-622) of bredere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 40-622) op uw fiets.
