Deze binnenband van Schwalbe is een robuuste optie voor 27,5 inch wielen, ontworpen om te passen bij bandenbreedtes van 40 mm tot 62 mm voor MTB, trekking en e-bike gebruik waar extra duurzaamheid van belang is. De 40/62-584 maatvoering dekt gangbare 27,5-inch banden van 40-584 (27,5 x 1,50 inch) tot 62-584 (27,5 x 2,40 inch), waardoor het een sterke keuze is voor dagelijks rijden, zwaardere ladingen en ruigere oppervlakken. Het beschikt over een SCV (Click) ventiel met een lengte van 40 millimeter voor eenvoudige inflatie met gangbare fietspompen.

- 40/62-584 maatvoering dekt 40-584 (27,5 x 1,50 inch) tot 62-584 (27,5 x 2,40 inch)

Welke fietsband past op welke velg?

De zogenaamde ETRTO-maat bestaat uit 2 getallen.
Het eerste getal geeft de breedte van de band in millimeters aan.
Het tweede getal geeft de diameter van de buitenband aan.
Stadsfietsen hebben bijvoorbeeld vaak de bandmaat 37-622.
De band is dan 37 mm breed en de fietsband heeft een diameter van 622mm.
De maat 622mm is dus bindend voor de maat band die op uw fiets past.
De breedte maat (37mm) is niet bindend.
Er kan ook een smallere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 32-622) of bredere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 40-622) op uw fiets.
