Gebouwd voor betrouwbare dagelijkse ritten, gebruikt de Schwalbe AV19 hoog-puur butyl voor uitstekende luchthoudbaarheid en duurzaamheid; elke binnenband wordt opgeblazen en 24 uur vastgehouden in de fabriek om de luchtdichtheid te verifiëren, en het elastische groepsbandensysteem van Schwalbe laat één binnenband meerdere bandenmaat dekken—ideaal voor gemengde 27,5" en 28" vloot.

Welke fietsband past op welke velg?

De zogenaamde ETRTO-maat bestaat uit 2 getallen.
Het eerste getal geeft de breedte van de band in millimeters aan.
Het tweede getal geeft de diameter van de buitenband aan.
Stadsfietsen hebben bijvoorbeeld vaak de bandmaat 37-622.
De band is dan 37 mm breed en de fietsband heeft een diameter van 622mm.
De maat 622mm is dus bindend voor de maat band die op uw fiets past.
De breedte maat (37mm) is niet bindend.
Er kan ook een smallere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 32-622) of bredere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 40-622) op uw fiets.
