De Continental Grand Prix vouwband is ontwikkeld voor rijders die op zoek zijn naar een betrouwbare allround raceband met een goede balans tussen lekbescherming en een lage rolweerstand.

Dankzij de 3-laags karkasconstructie biedt de band een goede lekbescherming en is hij tegelijkertijd licht en efficiënt. De legendarische Black Chilli-compound van Continental zorgt voor een lagere rolweerstand en goede grip. Het op de Grand Prix 5000-familie geïnspireerde loopvlakpatroon zorgt bovendien voor voorspelbaar bochtengedrag en vermindert de luchtweerstand.

Of het nu gaat om training, sportieve ritten of lange tochten – de Grand Prix biedt betrouwbare en evenwichtige prestaties.

Welke fietsband past op welke velg?

De zogenaamde ETRTO-maat bestaat uit 2 getallen.
Het eerste getal geeft de breedte van de band in millimeters aan.
Het tweede getal geeft de diameter van de buitenband aan.
Stadsfietsen hebben bijvoorbeeld vaak de bandmaat 37-622.
De band is dan 37 mm breed en de fietsband heeft een diameter van 622mm.
De maat 622mm is dus bindend voor de maat band die op uw fiets past.
De breedte maat (37mm) is niet bindend.
Er kan ook een smallere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 32-622) of bredere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 40-622) op uw fiets.
