De Continental TPU binnenband is licht van gewicht, compact en verlaagt de rolweerstand.
TPU is een combinatie van plastic en siliconen materiaal, waardoor het zowel stevig als flexibel is en lang mee gaat.
De hoge kwaliteit TPU bestaande uit 7 afgedichte lagen maximaliseert de luchtdichtheid en duurzaamheid.
De binnenbanden zijn ongekleurd om een maximale kwaliteit te garanderen en foutjes in de afwerking te voorkomen.
De basis van het ventiel heeft een enigszins conische vorm om de pasvorm op de velg te verbeteren en ongewenste bewegingen te verminderen, terwijl het ventiel een interne schroefdraad heeft om het gebruik van ventielverlengers of een vervangende ventielkern mogelijk te maken.

Welke fietsband past op welke velg?

De zogenaamde ETRTO-maat bestaat uit 2 getallen.
Het eerste getal geeft de breedte van de band in millimeters aan.
Het tweede getal geeft de diameter van de buitenband aan.
Stadsfietsen hebben bijvoorbeeld vaak de bandmaat 37-622.
De band is dan 37 mm breed en de fietsband heeft een diameter van 622mm.
De maat 622mm is dus bindend voor de maat band die op uw fiets past.
De breedte maat (37mm) is niet bindend.
Er kan ook een smallere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 32-622) of bredere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 40-622) op uw fiets.
