De Continental Cross King ProTection MTB banden zijn tubeless ready en hebben een loopvlak met breed uitstaande noppen voor optimale grip.
De Continental Cross King ProTection banden komen het beste tot zijn recht op natte en modderige ondergronden.
Dankzij de Protection zijwang bescherming, voorkomt het beschadigingen van buitenaf zoals scherpe stenen of het doorprikken van doorns.
De Protection laag zorgt er eveneens voor dat de band luchtdicht word afgesloten op een tubeless velg en de latex doet de rest.
Wanneer je toch lek rijdt vult de latex het gaatje moeiteloos op en kun je blijven fietsen.

Welke fietsband past op welke velg?

De zogenaamde ETRTO-maat bestaat uit 2 getallen.
Het eerste getal geeft de breedte van de band in millimeters aan.
Het tweede getal geeft de diameter van de buitenband aan.
Stadsfietsen hebben bijvoorbeeld vaak de bandmaat 37-622.
De band is dan 37 mm breed en de fietsband heeft een diameter van 622mm.
De maat 622mm is dus bindend voor de maat band die op uw fiets past.
De breedte maat (37mm) is niet bindend.
Er kan ook een smallere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 32-622) of bredere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 40-622) op uw fiets.
