De band voor urban bikers die altijd en onder alle weersomstandigheden op hun fiets willen kunnen vertrouwen - dat is precies waar de Pure CONTACT vouwband van Continental voor staat.

Met een combinatie van PolyX- en Vectran-breakerstof biedt de band de beste lekbescherming in het fietsbandenassortiment van Continental.
Het gewicht blijft aangenaam laag dankzij opvouwbare aramide kernen.
De rolweerstand van de band is ook relatief laag, zodat je je energiereserves kunt sparen.

Daarnaast is het profiel van de Pure contact verder geoptimaliseerd en heeft hij nu een gedefinieerd middengebied met prominente drainage-elementen die water kunnen afvoeren van het loopvlak.
Samen met de zijlamellen en de uitgebalanceerde rubbersamenstelling biedt de band uitstekende grip op nat en droog wegdek.

Welke fietsband past op welke velg?

De zogenaamde ETRTO-maat bestaat uit 2 getallen.
Het eerste getal geeft de breedte van de band in millimeters aan.
Het tweede getal geeft de diameter van de buitenband aan.
Stadsfietsen hebben bijvoorbeeld vaak de bandmaat 37-622.
De band is dan 37 mm breed en de fietsband heeft een diameter van 622mm.
De maat 622mm is dus bindend voor de maat band die op uw fiets past.
De breedte maat (37mm) is niet bindend.
Er kan ook een smallere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 32-622) of bredere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 40-622) op uw fiets.
