CST merkbanden worden op de markt aangeboden door Cheng Shin Rubber Ind. Co. Ltd. (Cheng Shin Tire). Met meer dan 20,000 man personeel is Cheng Shin Tire de grootste fietsbandenproducent ter wereld. Zij bieden daarnaast aanverwante fietsproducten aan in vele andere categoriën. Gedistribiueerd naar meer dan 150 landen, kan het CST merk een breed scala aan marktsegmenten bedienen. Het overige CST productassortiment omvat banden en binnenbanden voor racefietsen, mountianbikes, e-bikes, kinderfietsen.
Met de productiecapaciteit van drie fabrieken die zich bevinden in Xiamen, China, onderscheidt CST’s productieproces zich door zeer goed ontwikkelde en beheerde productieapparatuur van wereldniveau, innovatieve technologie en moeilijk te evenaren nadruk op kwaliteit, oplevering en klanttevredenheid. CST zorgt daarbij dat ze voldoet aan de meest stringente internationale normen binnen deze domeinen.

Welke fietsband past op welke velg?
De zogenaamde ETRTO-maat. Deze bestaat uit 2 getallen. Het eerste getal geeft de breedte van de band in millimeters aan. Het tweede getal geeft de diameter van de buitenband aan. Stadsfietsen hebben bijvoorbeeld vaak de bandmaat 37-622. De band is dan 37 mm breed en de fietsband heeft een diameter van 622mm. De maat 622mm is dus bindend voor de maat band die op uw fiets past. De breedte maat (37mm) is niet bindend. Er kan ook een smallere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 32-622) of bredere fietsband (bijvoorbeeld 40-622) op uw fiets.
